Bandjalang, part of the Bundjalung Nation
Giving back to country
Endemic to our area, Tea Tree has deep significance to the local Bundjalung people.
To honour this, we are donating $1 from every bottle sold to the junior rangers program at minyami, an indigenous protected area that neighbours our farm.
Our friend and traditional owner Aunty Simone Barker has created a beautiful artwork for our new packaging.
THIS IS IT’S STORY
The central circle represents Bandjalang country. Surrounding this are rays of sunlight shining down on the tea tree and the water in which it needs to grow. The eight circles around the centre represent all the local sacred areas that have special meaning to the Bandjalang people. One of these is a tidal tea tree lake. A sacred women’s place, traditionally used for childbirth and special ceremonies due to its potent healing properties.
